ATMOX ATTIC DC-Powered Fans

The ATMOX DC-Powered Attic Fans

  • When the ATMOX DC-Powered Attic Fans are being used in conjunction with the ATMOX ATTIC 150 System, the fans will receive power through the use of a low voltage cable and use snap splices provided to attach to cable.
  • Each style of fan is best used in a different application.  The goal of fan placement is to use a combination of exhaust and intake fans to balance air pressure.  When setup allows for it, intake is generally taken from the lower levels of attic and pushed out toward the top since warmer air naturally rises.
  • The exhaust fans would typically be placed under a ridgeline or in a gable.  The intake fans would typically be placed in a soffit vent opening.
  • The joist mounted fans are designed for use in a dead space area or when piping is needed.  They will used to increase the crossflow of air movement in a larger attic space.
  • Fans can be used in any combination and configuration. Watts used will determine power supply needed.  Any number of ATMOX Power Supplies can be added to the system to allow for the power output for fans needed.
